Bolloré Logistics transports prototype for Same Deutz-Fahr 02 November 2017
Moves goods from India to Milan, Italy by air
One of the global leading tractor manufacturers, Same Deutz-Fahr, has employed Bolloré Logistics India to transport their first prototype tractor by air. Same Deutz-Fahr was looking for an integrated end-to-end solution including the movement of these five tons of dangerous goods from their factory to the airport, the goods clearance and their transportation to Milan, Italy.
The Company tendered to five forwarders and eventually selected Bolloré Logistics based on the competitive rates, earliest satisfactory service on both sea and air shipments, and also its experience in handling prototype Cars for other customers.
Being the first project of its kind that the client had ever operated, Bolloré Logistics India has been requested to support through its expertise on the documentation management, along with the safe shipment of the goods from client's factory to Milan, Italy.
