DHL Supply Chain rebrands Exel Freight Connect to DHL Transport Brokerage 25 September 2017

DHL Supply Chain announced that Exel Freight Connect, its freight brokerage company, has transitioned to its new name, DHL Transport Brokerage. To enable a global customer experience, the North American supply chain business of Deutsche Post DHL Group began operating under the DHL Supply Chain name in January 2016. The DHL Transport Brokerage name change is part of the next phase of this brand transition, which is a multi-year effort.

DHL Transport Brokerage is a leading provider of custom freight brokerage solutions specialising in truckload, less than truckload (LTL) and expedited shipments. It services the US, Canada and Mexico, and is located in Columbus, Ohio.

The new name allows the Company to align its brokerage business under a global transportation services umbrella, and to operate as a consistent brand. The Company manages US$1.0 billion in freight annually through a vast network of the country's most reliable carriers. Operations under the new DHL Transport Brokerage will not be impacted other than a name change.
