DSV services Techtronic logistics contract from new facilities 06 November 2014
Techtronic Industries has re-located its European central warehouse
DSV Solutions has moved into new logistics facilities in Vaihingen/Enz, expanding its resources in the Stuttgart region of Germany. DSV occupies three facilities, two that are each 10,000 m2 and a smaller, third facility of 5,000 m2. The move is set to create around 90 additional jobs.
Techtronic Industries has moved its European central warehouse, accounting for around 28,000 pallet slots, from Schwieberdingen, Germany to Vaihingen/Enz.
The facilities will service a contract for Techtronic Industries EMEA, the European operations of the Chinese manufacturer of electric tools and garden equipment, supporting a range of distribution channels across Europe.
