FedEx Freight appoints new CEO
Michael L. Ducker to replace William J. Logue from January 2015
William J. Logue will retire as President and CEO of FedEx Freight on December 31st, 2014. He has guided FedEx Freight since 2010 to a leading position in the US Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) market. He cited health concerns as the reason for his decision to retire.
Michael L. Ducker, a 40-year FedEx veteran, will succeed Logue as President and CEO of FedEx Freight. Ducker will move into his new role on January 1, 2015, from his current position as Chief Operating Officer of FedEx Express. He has led the build out of the FedEx Express global air-ground network, and the growth of its international business.
