Hellmann selects GTKonnect FTZ Software for Foreign Trade Zone requirements 03 June 2014

Hellman Worldwide Logistics has selected GTKonnect FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) software. Hellmann will utilise the software to automate and simplify complex zone-related data management, deadlines and reporting for its zones across the US, with multiple customers in each zone.

Hellmann will use the software to help manage the reporting requirements of The US Foreign Trade Zone programme, which will allow its customers the potential to defer, reduce, or even eliminate customs duties on products admitted into the zone.

Hellmann will use GTKonnect’s FTZ software for end-to-end management of zone requirements at its zones across the US. The software will help Hellmann with various tasks, such as in-bonds, receipts, admissions, approvals for activities in the zone, weekly estimates, fees and end-of-year reporting.

Hellmann currently operates two active Foreign Trade Zones in the US (in Indianapolis, Indiana and Miami, Florida) and is scheduled to open three more zones (Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Newark, New Jersey, and San Diego, California). These zones will expand Hellmann’s coverage in offering additional services and opportunities for its customers.
