In line with its overland strategy ‘Road 2 Profit’ Kuehne + Nagel is expanding its portfolio of specialised network services. KN I2M Overland – Inbound to Manufacturing – is designed to help suppliers benefit from optimised procurement logistics.

KN I2M Overland is primarily tailored for 2nd and 3rd tier automotive suppliers, who are regularly confronted with fluctuating order volumes and ever changing production requirements.

Central elements of the new offer, which is available worldwide, are dynamic inbound supply chain planning, optimised inbound transports, process transparency and clear cost allocation. Product quality and operational excellence are ensured via the global Kuehne + Nagel Integrated Logistics Control Centres and a standardised specifically developed IT-solution.

Detailed product features include:

• Dynamic inbound supply chain management, which allows a faster reaction time to changes.
• Intelligent bundling of supplier inbound traffic to reduce costs per ordered part.
