Metro Supply Chain Group appoints US business lead 02 October 2017
Martin Street brings experience from Tibbett & Britten and Exel
Metro Supply Chain Group Inc. has announced that long time distribution executive Martin Street has accepted an offer to join the Company in the role of Business Lead, US, Automotive and Specialist Sectors.
Mr Street, who is now based in Atlanta, Georgia, has held senior level positions in the UK and North American supply chain industry for over twenty years. He was senior VP, Distribution at Tibbett & Britten in 2004 when it was acquired by Exel and, most recently, served as President and CEO of US-based parts and accessories distributor Stag-Parkway.
Metro Supply Chain Group has been actively expanding the North American client base for its signature brand of premium logistics. In August, the Company closed a deal to acquire long-standing US fulfilment pioneer, National Fulfilment Services, of Aston, Pennsylvania.
