Panattoni meets demand for logistics space in Poland 04 June 2014

68,000 m2 will comprise four warehouse buildings at full build-out Panattoni Europe has started construction works on a new park near Poznan, Panattoni Park Poznan III. The first facility of the complex, featuring more than 12,000 m2, has already gained its first tenants. They are logistics operators, and each one will take up 5,000 m2. Panattoni Europe is developing Poznan's industrial market, creating nearly 350,000 m2 of warehouse space. In addition to the existing parks, Panattoni Park Poznan I and II, Panattoni Park Robakowo, BTS Farmacol and the facility for Komputronik SA, the developer has started works on Panattoni Park Poznan III with total planned space of approx. 68,000 m2. At present, building one is under construction, with space in excess of 12,000 m2. The investment has already found tenants. They are logistics operators and providers of transport services, as well as freight forwarders. Each company leased 5,000 m2 in the facility under development. Near Poznan, the developer is also building a giant distribution centre for Amazon with 100,543 sqm, and plans to launch Panattoni Park Poznan IV. The Poznan market continues to hold promise for development potential. The existing space totals 1.02 million m2, which accounts for approximately 14.0% of the total space in Poland, with vacancy rate of 4.4%. The available space is quite scattered and if a customer should need space in excess of, say, 8,000 m2, new space has to be built. Panattoni Park Poznan III is a modern distribution centre with a total space of approximately 68,000 m2, which will comprise four warehouse buildings at full build-out. The project is located 12 km from Poznan city centre, on the national expressway S11, 800 m radial distance from the intersection of A2, E30, S11. With such close proximity of the city and well developed public transport infrastructure, the facility's location is easily accessible to the qualified labour pool.
